Sex offender arrested for attending church that had Daycare and Sunday School on the premises. How often does this happen across this country in all our churches with mandated sex predators attending NA meetings and AA meeting in the church basements? Does the Pastors of these churches even realize that AA is bringing sex predators and violent felons to their churches? Does their insurance policies cover ‘sexual molestation’ for the 12 step meetings? What about the AA’s groups insurance policy-is the church named in the policy? How much coverage is it, and does it cover abuse and molestation? Important questions churches need to be asking themselves. Not to mention they are allowing the pagan religion of AA to worship in Christian Churches.
Sex Offender arrested for going to church

A registered sex offender was arrested Wednesday for going to church.
James Dwight Bandy is accused of attending church services on Nov. 24 and Dec. 2 at New Vision Ministries in Lincolnton. He also attended a Sunday school class, according to the Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office.
As a registered sex offender, Bandy isn’t permitted to be within 300 feet of any location where children gather for educational, recreational or social programs.
New Vision Ministries, at 661 Clarks Creek Road, Lincolnton, hosts worship services on Sunday mornings and Wednesday evenings. The Baptist church also holds programs for children of all ages.

Mann said he’d never met Bandy and that a member of the church reported Bandy’s attendance at the services.
According to Mann, the church member said Bandy used to attend New Vision. When that parishioner saw Bandy at church a few weeks ago, they told Mann and reported it to Bandy’s probation officer.
Mann was confident that Bandy had no dealings with children at the church.
Anyone who works with children at the church is subject to a background check, said Mann.
Bandy, 38, of 1945 Southpark Drive, Newton, was convicted of sexual battery in Tennessee in August of 2009. Bandy’s accuser was 14, according to the N.C. Sex Offender Registry.
At the time of his registration as a sex offender, Bandy was listed as homeless, according to the National Sex Offender Registry website.
Bandy was taken before a Lincoln County magistrate and released on a $5,000 secured bond.
Mann not only leads services at New Vision Ministries, he is a prison chaplain. He said he’s ministered to all walks of life, and he hopes that everyone can get the spiritual healing they need. But Mann also said that with actions come consequences, and sex offenders know the rules under the conditions of their release.
“I hate it for him,” said Mann. “You want to always help everybody. But in this situation he knows he wasn’t supposed to be there so he shouldn’t have been there.”

I have done an initial search but have not come up with any details yet. I am going to dig deeper when I have more time. This heinous crime was just reported. We need to find out if NA or AA meetings are held at this particular Salvation Army Corps church.
It is heart-wrenching as all of these horrible incidences are.
