  1. Yes I do remember this one that shocked the whole country! So, they used AA/NA meetings to hook up and plan their attack! This doesn’t surprise me! Like you said, nobody’s supervising them and even if they were, they have made it clear they won’t cooperate with the police because they’re “anonymous.”

  2. SAFE AND EFFECTIVE ADDICTION RECOVERY “SUPPORT GROUPS” ARE AVAILABLE TO YOU AND YOUR CHILDREN !

PLEASE just check it out. Scroll down the right-hand side of this website’s homepage, below the recent comments, to “12 STEP ALTERNATIVES” and click on the links to their websites! GREAT NEWS ! “SMART RECOVERY” is currently listed as an acceptable “support group” option for Drug Court mandates in Florida’s Volusia and Flagler counties. Online meetings which can also provide attendance validation certification, are now available for drug court compliance!

I am so grateful that people care enough to take a stand, unpopular as it may be, to raise awareness about the reality of the current state of affairs in regard to addiction recovery support groups. I appreciate them for giving so much of their time and energy to promote safe, accountable and effective recovery options!

  3. Do you remember this high profile home invasion/ brutal mass murder? It was so unbelievably pointless and heartless that it received worldwide coverage. Check out the related links to refresh your memory and discover the truth about where the perpetrators hooked up.

The perpetrators became acquainted at Narcotics Anonymous and Alcoholics Anonymous sessions. The fact is that a high percentage of attendees are only there to avoid jail time by complying with court mandated probation/parole requirements. Since these compliance sessions are nonprofessional and unsupervised it is NO SURPRISE that they used the opportunity to share ideas on teaming up to burglarize and terrorize the local residents.

How does this remotely make any sense when it comes to public safety or successful rehabilitation? Violent felons, sex predators etc. are able to avoid jail and comply with probation/parole requirements by simply attending nonprofessional, unsupervised anonymous sessions with no security present whatsoever! In many areas, such as ours, these large groups regularly take over our public park facilities. They do this with a total disregard for the risks to those who choose to use the park for its intended purpose. Check out the link for the “ RUDE AWAKENING” about the reality of this situation as told by a local citizen. They hold their probation compliance sessions unsupervised, telling their “ HORROR STORIES,” just steps from the children playing in our playgrounds.

Just click the link on the right side of the homepage for Volusia.org click on inmate information to look up who’s in your neighborhood park to avoid jail. It’s also a good place to find out more about who you or your children are spending time with!
