And the anti-progress aspect of the 12-step systems? Their language is archaic. Their practices are almost medieval. They are very much a sexist organization in their language, at least.

He pleaded guilty to brandishing a firearm and assault and battery after a January incident involving his wife.

Another criminal gets the NA get out of jail card. He had over 40 charges and 20 years behind bars. Just a slap on the wrist and going to NA meetings to sit next to vulnerable women and minors.

A SERIAL criminal picked up $23,000 from an unlocked pub safe and blew it on a five-day drug binge during a prolonged crime spree on the Sunshine and Fraser Coasts.
A known disruptive AA member had been tolerated for his disruptive for some time before he lost it and threw hot coffee at the leader of the AA meeting causing him blisters. It is common for 12 step meetings to be very tolerant of members putting other members in peril.
Three unrelated criminal cases in which scalding water or coffee was used as a weapon are being handled with care, according to San Francisco prosecutors.
Men with apparently hot tempers were recently arrested in connection with unrelated attacks at two Starbucks outlets and an Alcoholics Anonymous meeting.
The latest incident occurred March 31 when a man allegedly poured coffee on the leader of an AA meeting at 20th and Lexington streets in the Mission district. The suspect, 28-year-old Armando Rodriquez of San Francisco, landed in hot water when he was charged with felonious mayhem and assault with force likely to cause great bodily injury. Actually this is not an uncommon occurrence contrary to popular belief. There is only a request for a desire to not drink or do drugs. Meaning people are welcomed to both AA and NA meetings drunk and strung out. Many AA members bring their children along too.
AA Member Donald Judge and child porn addict has been able to skip jail time with the help of AA members supporting him. He actually sponsored people in Alcoholics Anonymous. How disgusting! A man with a child porn addiction that had been found to have over 6690 images and videos, including rape and bestiality is sponsoring other AA members? The Judge thinks this is a good thing?! Anyone can be a Sponsor in AA and NA. This is proof!
